Vessel Stories, No. 1: Shore

Some vessels ask to be kept.

For the first installment of Vessel Stories, we chose a flower bowl with sculpted petals and a character all its own. Its shape feels at home on a table or dresser, even before the candle is lit. We poured it with Shore, a fresh blend inspired by sea salt and orchid.

Each a•scenting candle begins with the vessel. We look for pieces with a presence that feels collected—something beautiful enough to display, and thoughtful enough to keep. Then we hand pour the candle in our Delray Beach studio, giving the vessel a new purpose while honoring the shape that made us pause.

Shore brings a fresh, airy mood to the bowl. The fragrance of sea salt and orchid feels quietly at home in a room, while the sculpted petals catch the light from every angle.

And when the candle has burned down, the story doesn’t have to end. The flower bowl remains: a small keepsake, ready for whatever comes next.

That is the thought behind every vessel we choose.
