cut from fine lead crystal by lenox in a pattern called aria, produced from 1984 through 2006 and named, fittingly, for a solo voice rising. the bowl rises clean and tall, the way a flute is meant to. the stem is where she becomes herself, gently spiraled, catching the light the way only crystal can.

turn her over and she reveals a hidden detail: a starburst rosette pressed into the foot, the kind of small, deliberate craftsmanship you only notice when you handle her. signed lenox on the base.
