A vintage crystal lidded candy dish with a low, wide profile and a quiet kind of confidence. The bowl carries a swirl cut pattern that wraps the glass in soft motion, and the lid is finished with a starburst fan and a ribbed crystal finial. She sits close to the surface and catches light from every angle.
Now she holds Nocturne.

The fragrance is sea minerals: deep, cool, and slightly briny, with an undertone that feels like salt air and stone. In this wide, shallow pour, the scent opens up and fills a room the way the sea fills a cove.
Light her with the lid off, replace the lid between burns to hold the scent inside. When the candle is done, she becomes a jewelry box, a vanity dish, a place for the small things that deserve a beautiful home.
the candle burns down, the vessel stays.

The Vessel
Crystal lidded candy dishes were a staple of living rooms and vanity tables throughout the mid-to-late 20th century. This one features a swirl cut pattern on the bowl and a starburst fan design on the lid, finished with a ribbed crystal finial. The low, wide form gives her a grounded elegance, and the lid makes her especially practical between burns and beautifully giftable. Likely European crystal from the 1980s or 1990s. Minor imperfections may be present — these are marks of origin and age, not flaws.

Candle Care
Trim both wicks to ¼” before each burn. Burn in 2-3 hour sessions and allow the wax to melt fully to the edges before extinguishing. Replace lid between burns to preserve the scent. Never leave unattended. When a thin layer of wax remains, it’s time to retire the flame and start the vessel’s second life. Hand wash after use. Not microwave or dishwasher safe.

Gifting
She arrives lid-on, nestled in tissue paper, and ready to give. Because every vessel is unique, every gift is truly one of a kind.
