The Vessel
This footed compote features alternating fan sunburst and diamond crosshatch panels with a deeply scalloped rim, pressed in clear glass during the golden age of American pattern glass. Sourced from a South Florida estate sale. Minor imperfections may be present — these are marks of origin and age, not flaws.
Candle Care
Trim wick to ¼” before each burn. Burn in 1–2 hour sessions and allow the wax to melt fully to the edges before extinguishing. Never leave unattended. When a thin layer of wax remains, it’s time to retire the flame and start the vessel’s second life. Hand wash after use. Not microwave or dishwasher safe.
