The Vessel
A covered crystal bowl in the brilliant-cut style, pressed in clear glass during the mid-twentieth century when American glassmakers were producing affordable, light-catching alternatives to hand-cut crystal. The body features three bands of raised oval cabochons in the thumbprint tradition; the domed lid centers on a hobstar medallion surrounded by a fine cane field, finished with a faceted spire finial. Sourced from a South Florida estate sale. Minor imperfections may be present, marks of origin and age, not flaws.

Candle Care
Trim wicks to ¼” before each burn. Burn in 2–3 hour sessions and allow the wax to melt fully to the edges before extinguishing. Never leave unattended. When a thin layer of wax remains, it’s time to retire the flame and start the vessel’s second life. Hand wash after use. Not microwave or dishwasher safe. The lid is decorative and should never be placed on the candle while burning.
