Petal | Vintage Frosted Rose Crystal Footed Bowl
Petal | Vintage Frosted Rose Crystal Footed Bowl
Soft and blooming, with delicate floral layers that open slowly and linger gently. Petal is a garden at the moment everything opens.
This Petal is poured into a vintage footed crystal rose bowl with a scalloped rim, a frosted intaglio-cut band of roses and daisies, a deep petal-cut lower bowl, and a pedestal base set on beaded hobnail. Rose bowls have a long, specific history — they began in Victorian English gardens, designed as short round vessels with scalloped mouths meant to cradle short-stemmed garden roses so the blooms sat just above the rim. Every detail of this one honors that origin. The frosted roses are carved directly into the crystal. The scalloped edge was made to hold her flowers. The pedestal lifts her the way a centerpiece deserves to be lifted.
Poured with Petal, she becomes something rare: a rose-motif vessel holding a rose-and-peony scent, glowing from the inside. A love letter to the whole idea of flowers. When the wax is gone, put real roses back in her, the way she was always meant to hold them.
Every vessel is a one-of-a-kind vintage find. No two are alike. The candle burns down, the vessel stays.

The Vessel
A vintage footed crystal rose bowl with a scalloped rim, frosted intaglio cut roses and daisies around the upper band, a deep petal-cut lower bowl, and a beaded hobnail pedestal base. The rose bowl form dates to Victorian England as a dedicated vessel for short-stemmed garden roses. No maker’s mark. Likely late 20th century European crystal in the tradition of houses like Walther Glas or Mikasa. Sourced from a South Florida estate sale. Minor imperfections may be present — these are marks of origin and age, not flaws.
Candle Care
Trim wick to ¼” before each burn. Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling. Burn for no more than 2–3 hours at a time. Never leave unattended. When a thin layer of wax remains, it’s time to retire the flame and start the vessel’s second life. Hand wash after use. Not microwave or dishwasher safe.
