Theresienthal Concord Crystal Wine Glasses with 24K Gold Minton Rim — Set of 6
Theresienthal Concord Crystal Wine Glasses with 24K Gold Minton Rim — Set of 6
A set of six mouth-blown crystal wine glasses by Theresienthal, the legendary Bavarian crystal manufactory founded in 1836 by royal appointment. These are from the Concord series, featuring the iconic Mintonborte — a wide band of 24K gold with an interlocking oval filigree pattern, hand-cut and hand-polished.
The balloon-shaped bowl sits on a slender stem with a star-cut base, a hallmark of Theresienthal craftsmanship.
This is a classical series from the 1950s–60s, a period when Theresienthal was producing under the West Germany mark. The same manufactory supplied crystal to King Ludwig II’s palaces and the Russian Imperial court — and they’re still in production today, with new pieces retailing for hundreds per glass.
Minor wear to the gold banding consistent with age and use. No chips, no cracks. A complete set of six is increasingly rare to find.
