Veil | Mid-Century Star of David Pressed Glass Sugar Bowl
Veil | Mid-Century Star of David Pressed Glass Sugar Bowl
The scent of a room that’s already beautiful. Veil smells like cotton blossom and sun-warmed linen — the kind of clean that isn’t trying to be anything other than itself. A bright lemon top note fades quickly into crisp white fabric and a heart that’s all softness.
Violet, sandalwood, the faintest dusting of powder. It’s the candle for Sunday mornings, open windows, and spaces where you want the light to do the talking. Understated by design, Veil doesn’t compete with a room — it finishes it.
Every vessel is a one-of-a-kind vintage find — sourced from estate sales and flea markets across South Florida. No two are alike. When the candle burns down, the vessel stays.

The Vessel
This is one of the most recognized mid-century American glass patterns ever made. Anchor Hocking designed the Early American Prescut line in the 1960s to give everyday families the look of expensive cut crystal at an accessible price — and it became wildly popular. The thick pressed glass is sturdy, the geometric star pattern throws gorgeous light, and the double handles give it a classic sugar-bowl silhouette that feels right at home on any surface.
When the candle is finished, simply warm and wipe out any remaining wax and reuse the vessel as:
∙ a sugar bowl or condiment dish
∙ a small catch-all for keys or jewelry
∙ a cotton ball or match holder on a vanity
∙ a charming accent piece on a styled tray
