Shore | Belleek Ribbon Pair
Shore | Belleek Ribbon Pair
Two vintage Belleek creamers, hand-crafted in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, sometime between 1955 and 1965. Each one carries the pottery’s 5th Mark backstamp in green, the Celtic knot “Déanta in Éirinn” seal, and the iridescent lustre glaze that has defined Belleek porcelain since 1863.
She is a pair, but not identical. One is taller and more angular, with embossed leaves and a sculptural spout. The other is rounder and softer, cinched with the Ribbon pattern’s signature bow. Their handles are tinged with a pale gold that catches the light differently depending on where you set them. Together they feel like they were always meant to sit side by side.
Now they hold Shore.
The fragrance is sea salt and orchid: clean and coastal, with a soft floral warmth underneath. She smells like an open window near the water. Against the warmth of Belleek’s ivory lustre glaze, she feels like salt air settling into an old stone cottage on the Irish coast.
Light them on a vanity, a mantel, or wherever you keep the things that come in pairs. When the candles burn down, the vessels stay.
the candle burns down, the vessel stays.

The Vessel
Belleek Pottery has been hand-crafting parian porcelain in Ireland since 1863. Queen Victoria once commissioned pieces for her private collection. These two creamers were made during the 5th Mark period, stamped with the Irish Wolfhound, Round Tower, and Harp crest, and sealed with “Déanta in Éirinn” — Made in Ireland. The ivory glaze carries Belleek’s signature pearlescent lustre, and the pale gold on the handles and bow relief has softened beautifully with age. Minor imperfections may be present — these are marks of origin and age, not flaws.
Candle Care
Trim wick to ¼” before each burn. Burn in 1-2 hour sessions and allow the wax to melt fully to the edges before extinguishing. Never leave unattended. When a thin layer of wax remains, it’s time to retire the flame and start the vessel’s second life. Hand wash after use. Not microwave or dishwasher safe.
